Here you can register your Documentary/Reportage/Project for the 21st edition of the Santiago Álvarez in Memoriam International Documentary Film Festival to be held in March 2024.

While you are filling out the form, you can save a draft to return to it at a later time.

Instructions

  1. All the fields marked with * are mandatory, please carefully review all the information requested when you fill out the form, if any mandatory field is missing or there is an error in the data provided, the corresponding box will be marked in red.
  2. The phone data has two fields, one for the country code without the “+” symbol and the other field for the phone number, without the country code. If you do not enter it correctly, an error will be marked in those fields.
  3. The copies must be in NTSC or PAL system, with a minimum resolution of FullHD 1080P – Codec H264. Works in DCP format are not allowed.
  4. In the fields for uploading files you can make a multiple selection, have all the material to be sent organized in the same folder that will make it easier for you to select and upload files.
  5. When you have selected the files to upload, and once you have filled out the entire form, click on the “Send Registration” button, which you will see at the end of the form. The upload progress of the files will be displayed, do not close the window until you receive the notification that the upload has been successful. Depending on the size of the file and your internet connection, uploading files may be fast or take longer, we recommend that you save a draft of your form before submitting it.

Technical Aspects for uploading Files

The file upload process may be faster or somewhat slower depending on the number of files, their weight and the upload speed of your internet connection.

If you know a priori or suspect that your internet connection is slowly or not stable, in file upload field, attach at least the photo of the director, documentary poster and shooting photos if you have them. It is necessary to attach at least one file. In the “Comments” field, paste the download link of your Documentary/Project/Reportage, only links from Google Drive or Vimeo are allowed.

If during files uploading process you loose your internet connection, or you receive an error notification or close the window before finishing it, please follow the steps below:

  • Save a draft of your form, you will see the option at the bottom of the form, then sign out.
  • Delete the browsing history and cookies from your internet browser, these are the instructions depending on your browser:
  • Close the browser and open it again.
  • Enter the Registration Form page with your credentials, username and password, the form will automatically appear with the data you entered when you saved draft.
  • Finish filling out the form with all the required fields and re-upload the files in the indicated field.
  • Do not close the window and wait for confirmation that your form has been sent correctly, you will receive an automatic email confirming that your Registration Form has been received.
